These are production units for beef, pork and cattle. SODEPA has three industrial slaughterhouses:
-The Etoudi slaughterhouse in Yaounde (Centre Region) which has a capacity of 400 cattle, 200 sheep and goats and 100 pigs per day;
-The BONENDALE slaughterhouse in DOUALA (Littoral Region) which has a capacity of 200 cattle, 200 sheep and goats per day;
-the WAKWA industrial slaughterhouse in Ngaoundere in the Adamaoua Region which has a slaughter capacity of 250 animals per day.
Mobile slaughterhouses for pigs and small ruminants are already operational in the Mbankolo and Nkol Ewoe neighbourhoods of Yaounde.
These production units extend the offer for the slaughter of small ruminants. Similar projects are planned for other cities in Cameroon.
