Sodepa took active part in the Djoulde Dabbadji 2018 livestock fair in Ngaoundere in the Adamaoua Region, from 17 to 19 December 2018. The annual event which has been attracting livestock breeders from all over Cameroon for the past 5 editions was inaugurated on December 17 by the Minister of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries. The Livestock Development Corporation exhibited its cattle products during this livestock festival. Healthy-looking animals in their stand bear witness to the support that SODEPA has enjoyed from the government of Cameroon in the promotion of second-generation livestock.
This year’s theme, « milk production: a basis for sustainable livestock farming », is part of the creation of a value chain around milk for optimal coverage of the national and sub-regional market. Apart from Cameroonians, this 5th edition of the National Livestock Fair also featured livestock farmers and craftspeople from Chad.
