These words were pronounced over and over again on Friday February 03, 2023 at the Multi Sport Complex in Yaoundé, during the ceremony for the presentation of New Year wishes to the Technical Supervisor.
The Minister of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries (MINEPIA), organizations under his authority, regional delegations and, last but not least, special guests were all present at the Multi Sports Complex Palais des Sports at the beginning of February. MINEPIA received its New Year Wishes for the year 2023. The ceremony was divided into several phases, with the 2022 review speech by MINEPIA’s Secretary General setting the tone. Musical interludes filled the air before the speech by Dr. TAIGA, host of the event. In declaring 2023 the year of poultry farming, the Minister reiterated the urgent need to « boost the development of mass consumption production » and the State’s determination to promote the « import-substitution » policy. The grand ceremony was preceded by a presentation of training certificates to fish braziers. Led by General Manager KOULAGNA KOUTOU DENIS, the staff performed the annual ritual interrupted 3 years ago due to the Covid19 pandemic. Interviews and a cocktail party marked the end of this unique day.
